Bottle at bar. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, grass, grapefruit and hops. A bit thin body, mostly hops. Nice, experimental IPA. DanielBrown (4563) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2012
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Clear gold, no head. This struck me as more of a Golden than a IPA. Hops are more backgroundish, rather than being the main feature. Smooth, easy drinking yes, but in this case easy drining means that the tongue is not stunned by overt hop content. Certainly pleasant, but not a show stopper. Bardzo dobre IPA ale specjalne, mocniejsze. Tresciwe i gozkie.

From bottle at Cardinal 05.02.16. Best before April 2015. Slightly hazy golden. Dense and persistent beige head and lacing. Moderate aroma and taste of pale malt, bitter citrus, papaya, other tropical fruits and dried fruits. Bitterness and Sevilla oranges in taste. Slightly metallic. Round mouthfeel. Good drinkability. Lighter, copper color with lots of head out of the bottle. Again a metallic edge--what's with Durham and this metallic flavor? The water? Carbonation gives a frothy body, somewhat oily but not hugely. Nutty, slightly acidic, citric, strong bitterness, long finish. Smoother with the yeast poured from the bottle. Sweet-dry thing going on, dry dominating the finish. hawthorne00 (4198) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 30, 2011
Bottle,11C. Almost clear orange with a white head. Aroma of orange blossoms, earth, caramel, lemon, alcohol. Slightly sweet with biscuit, caramel, peach, then quite earthy bitterness and a dry finish with some wood notes. A little too much carbonation, but perhaps that’s part of the Belgian influence on what remains a very English beer. Lots to like, but the alcohol sticks out too much. gam (4139) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 18, 2011
