Served in a tulip at Carinthian (Krnten) Beer Festival. Pours black colour with a beige head. Aroma is a complex combination of chocolate, coffee, molasses, liquorice, vanilla and cocoa. Taste is bitter-sweet with coffee notes. Full body with soft carbonation. Alcohol is virtually not detectable which makes this beer extremely enjoyable and very smooth. Nice stuff!

Samo Pivo, Belgrade. Brown-tinged, smaller ring foam. Very sweet roast. Soy, molasses. Good roast and rich imp stout. Sweet alc body, a bit flabby. Ok.

Aromat: gorzka czekolada, paloność, niezbyt intensywny. Wygląd: barwa czarna, piana raczej średnia Smak: wytrawne, gorzka czekolada, w tle paloność, goryczka średnia, trochę alkoholowe. Tekstura: za mało ciała - średnio pełne, wysycenie niskie. Oglne wrażenie: niezły ris, chociaż mało stylowy, bliżej mu do FES-a. W smaku i aromacie głwnie gorzka czekolada, na minus należy zaliczyć za mała ilość ciała oraz byt wyraźny alkohol.

Piwo czarne z lekką pianą ktra ładnie lejcuje. W zapachu wyczuwalne nuty czekolady i karmelu. Zapach jest bardzo złożony. W smaku głwnie czuć nuty gorzkiej czekolady, finisz lekko goryczkowy. Pijąc je mam wrażenie że jest "gęste". Po przełknięciu zostaje w ustach lekki posmak alkoholu...

Maybe not the tastiest Russian Stout ever, I miss some of the little flavors, is compensated by a great mild palate. Not bad for rating number 2000

TET (2929) - Kaarina, FINLAND - DEC 27, 2015
A black beer, a head is very big and beige. Aroma has liquirice, salt liquirice and some chocolate. Taste is powerful, great salt liquirice, some dark fruitness and roastiness. Full bodied, not sticky, balanced carbonation. Not typical IS, whick have also other nuancees than the nomal coffee and roastiness. Strong salt liquirice and lots of flavours. Very tasteful.

Bottle conditioned, aged 8 years, from Westholme Stores, Goring, Oxon. Jet Black with tan head. Big heavy, black roasted malt flavours from the start, liquorice and bitumen notes, quite well amalgamated over the years, although still a considerable bitterness. Elderberry notes, pretty earthy and dry, lots of tongue coating and mouthfeel, thick and heavy. A big old bruiser of a beer.
