[Cask at GBBF 2005] A light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet slightly hoppy combined with slight citrus notes. The flavor is sweet hoppy with a bitter dry end.

Cask (gravity dispense), GBBF, August 2005. Yet another golden ale. Actually pale straw colour rather than golden. Some herbaceous, grassy notes on the aroma. I would have attributed this to German hops, but I see its actually made with American hops, so I can only conclude that it could use more of them. Reasonably dry, quite fresh. Entirely fit for the purpose but pretty middle of the road on this showing.

Cask (gravity dispense) at the Olde Dolphin Innn summer beer festival, Derby. A class act. Lovely citirc aroma, flavours segue goes from lemon to grapefruit, hop bites all the way around, accomplished stuff. Beer of the festival for me.

Floral, citrus, lavender hop nose with some fresh grainy malts. Clear golden body with low white head that diminishes to ring. Assertively bitter, floral, husky, vegetal flavour that while not completely unpleasant is not quite pleasant either. Light body with fairly prickly, fine bubbled carbonation. Cask at GBBF 2005.

Cask (GBBF): Very pale in colour. Mild fruity aroma. Sweetish lager malts. Quite refreshing. Subdued hoppy finish. Medium bodied, balanced summer ale.

On tap at GBBF 05. Pale gold, no head. Smells good - juicy hops. Taste however is too salty and dry. Very bitter, without any relenting balance.

Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2005. A very clear straw coloured beer with a nice hoppy lemony aroma. The taste was sharp lemon hops. Again not as fresh as I’d have liked but a good beer from as Ian says: A great brewery.

Cask at GBBF 2005 First beer for me on the Thursday session. Pale gold, blond citrus hoppy but this is one of the best from an excellent brewery. The finishing hop flavour is more floral than most and the citrus flavours are excellent.
