COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
White Stout is the ultimate beer in our "White Range". While the word "stout" has come to mean a dark beer, the original meaning was strong and true. Before the porter brewers commandeered the word to mean a stout, or strong, porter it referred to any strong beer. We have rehabilitated and improved the genre. White Stout is a very pale, full bodied, strong beer. American columbus hops are used throughout to give massive floral and resinous character. At a strength of 7.2% this is a true stout. Indeed, few modern stouts of any colour are true to the word for strong.

imdownthepub (14557) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 31, 2015
Bottled, 500ml from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Dirty blonde with off white head. There is a big, fruity, alcohol hit early on, apricot and plummy notes, some malty sweetness, some caramel, boiled sugar notes. Quite a hefty beer but reasonable.

Leicht trübes mittleres orange. Sehr fester extrem langanhaltender strahlend weißer Schaum.

20.7.2014. Hops, fruits, floral, raisin, spicy, still a bit different. Notes afterwards but it was good when I was really thirsty!

hay with a bit of whiskeyness, amber gold colour with a frothy white head, quite sweet with a slight citrus tang. basically just a strong bland pale ale then?

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 19, 2015
from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse - pours a hazy dark blond beer under a persistent white foam leaving a beautiful lacework; aroma of honey and flowery hops; full-bodied, tasty and with a fair yet subtle carbonation, gently bitter, earthy and spicy hoppy finish with light fruity and honey reminiscence

weordie (1186) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2015
Pours a cloudy copper with a nice, thick, foamy white head. Aroma of caramel and grass. Taste is strong of grass with a bitter aftertaste. A nice strong beer, not what I expected at all really.
