This German style Pilsner uses 100% Pilsner malt along with Magnum and Opal hops to create a light-flavored, crisp, hoppy lager. A modified decoction mash (a traditional German brewing process in which part of the mash is boiled) was used to create a more complex malty flavor and aroma despite the light character of the beer. Light malt flavors and grainy aroma are complemented by spicy and lemon-like hop notes. The finish is medium-dry with a pleasant, moderate bitterness.

Draft @ Jacks Bar in The Cannery, San Francisco, CA. Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grainy grassy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy grassy hoppy finish.

This one reads like it gets a bad knock for being largely unknown and weak, but I find Hobo to be a sterling example of what a great pilsner can be coming down from the north valley. A crisp, light bodied and delicately hopped pilsner. Deliciously fancy lawnmower beer.

This was poured into a pilsner glass. The appearance was a transparent yellow color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Somewhat bubbly with a little bit of lacing. The aroma had some good sweet clean grassy hops up front over some biscuity/breadiness. The flavor takes all of the previously mentioned aromas to combine nicely. Lingering sweet aftertaste with a wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light with a great crisp malty sweetness to it. Overall, really nice German pilsener that I would have again.

Pours a clean yellow color with a light malt aroma. Taste is true pilsner flavor with a minor sweetness with a hint of lemon. An easy drinking beer, that was thirst quenching.

This German style Pilsner uses 100% Pilsner malt along with Magnum and Opal hops to create a light-flavored, crisp, hoppy lager. Exactly, Crisp, light and hoppy, Reminded me of the trumer pils. I prefer less hoppy.

Sampled at GABF2015. In the tasting glass was gold with a good white foam cap. Nose of light fruit and floral hops. Light to medium body. Flavor is grassy hops and lots of fruit. Finishes with a hint of bitter and dryness. Quite OK,

Bottle thanks to joenugs. Pour is a very clear very pale yellow with a small white head. Nose is soft white bread with a hint of cracker or crust. A moderate grassy and light lemon hop aroma. Some floral esters. Taste is a lightly bitter hop forward flavor. Moderate floral hop flavor. Reminds me more of a soft Czech pils than a German style. Overall decent but not mind blowing. The esters seem to come across too much and almost Apple like as it warms.
