COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first beer brewed and released to the market. The IPA style was developed by the British to enable beer to survive a long voyage by ship from Britain to the colonies in India to supply the troops during the late 1700s and early 1800s. Beer usually spoiled on the trip, so a higher alcohol content and additional hops were used as natural preservatives. Our version is the American style, using a higher hopping rate than the British style, and American hops that produce citrusy and herbal/floral aromas. Moderate bitterness.

This is a decent IPA. The flavor is happy with a bit of fruit but not too much. Solid standard IPA.

Bright yellow with white head. Has a wheat and fruity taste to it. Draft pour at jacks cannery in San Fran. Tasty shit

Bottle. Orange-amber, with an appealingly huge top. Despite the big visuals, this ends up being a bit hollow overall. Id call it a mellow pale ale, very thin to the feel, tilted to the bitter side. (#6314, 8/2016)

Bottled on 07/28/16. This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a crisp transparent burnt orange color with a thin white foamy head. Dissipates nice and slow. Messy thin cap of a somewhat sustaining head with lacing. The aroma starts off with some sweet citrus pulp and then bitter rind. Subtle herbal/grassiness slides in nicely. The flavor takes the previously mentioned aromas to try and combine but the bitterness comes forth a bit more than expected. Lingering grassy hops aftertaste with finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable feel to it. Carbonation feels fine. Overall, its a decent AIPA that could come back to if I saw it, but might seem out some others before this.

On draft in Merced. Orange pour with a thin head. Decent lacing though. Aroma of pine and floral and maybe caramel. Flavor the same with a sweet and somewhat astringent base. Herbal notes underneath. Some citrus. Mouthfeel moderate. More carbonation may have helped.

Hazy (good resinous dank look) orange straw color. White dense head. Piney hop flavor that goes on too long after initial tasting. Some sweet grain huskiness as if mashed at too low temperature. Not unpleasant, just noticeably unique for an IPA.
