This was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chart. From a 22 oz bottle pours dark copper. Creamy off-white head. Nose is fruit, citrus, pine, and a lot of earthy aromas. The body is full, and the mouth feel is resinous and pine touch. The flavor is very strong pine, with fruit, citrus, and the earthiness following. The finish is very pine bitter. ABV hidden well enough. This is a powerful beer, with lots of malts and hops. Lots of bitterness. A little more flavor would be appreciated but overall a really big beer and for some much hops and bitterness quite easy drinking.

22 oz bottle. (City Beer Store) San Francisco, CA.
Clear deep golden colour with a small to mid-size foamy white head. Sweet resiny and piney hops, moderate bitterness, more sweetness and some maltiness in the aroma. The flavour is very bitter with resiny, grapefruity and piney hops and sweet maltiness. Strong, tasty and sweet.

Aromas citrus and citrus peel. Great clean taste with slight bitterness. Slight citrus in aftertaste as well. Doesn’t feel like 9.5 percent at all. Super smooth and tasty.

On tap at The Hop Grenade
Clear dark golden with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing. Aroma is malty and caramel. Flavors of toasted malts and pine

From the bottle. Nice thick head, aroma of pure citrus! Very bitter! Dry finish. Very good dipa! Takes hops of wrath up a notch. Never disappointed by dust bowl.

brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 1, 2015
On tap @ Dust Bowl. Clear orange pour with a white head. Opens up kind of boozy and vegetal, but there is a lot of pine and grassy hop character to it as well. A little on the spicy side and quite a bit of toasted and caramel malt aromas. Flavor is kind of sharp. A bunch of bitterness and alcohol. Tons and tons of pine, in particular. A bit of peach, sweet orange, and a little grapefruit peel. Not terribly impressive.

Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Bottle from my aunt Pam. Orange pour with a big white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, toast, and grapefruit. Taste is lots of citrus, but more caramel, alcohol, and a sticky finish.

beerguy00 (186) - Fountain Valley, California, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Nice golder color, very well balanced for being a double IPA. Citrus, tropical fruit, and hops.

beertholomeus (1814) - California, USA - AUG 13, 2014
Pours a golden amber color with a white head. Hop, citrus, resin, caramel and malt aroma. Hop, grapefruit, mango, floral, resin, caramel and malt flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Resinous hop finish.

sirwisa (26) - California, USA - JUL 29, 2014
Great clarity. Probably shade light by style, but who cares. Solid malt foundation for big hops. A little too easy to gulp. Pairs well with full flavored cheese - Stilton, etc.
