Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark copper with a creamy white head that laces. Aroma is resin and fruit/citrus with a touch of treacle or chocolate. Flavor is resin, fruit and caramel/toffee. Almost seems woody. Gets a little earthy and citrusy in the finish. Quite tasty. bb (10113) - Alamo, California, USA - SEP 11, 2013

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and floral and lightly fruity hops, some pale and caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness. Average texture. A solid double IPA, but could be a little more balanced. sirwisa (26) - California, USA - JUL 29, 2014
Great clarity. Probably shade light by style, but who cares. Solid malt foundation for big hops. A little too easy to gulp. Pairs well with full flavored cheese - Stilton, etc.

Tower 42 Tasting. Thanks to Colin for another big DIPA - cheers ears! Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, thin cream. Hop spice, citric peel and semi sweet floralness. Nice jammy mango, Touches of grapefruit and resin. Piney spicy finish with a spicy linger, Nice one.
On tap at Tap 25. It pours a clear golden orange with an off white head. The aroma is spicy, citrus with a decent dose of caramel malt. The flavor is potent spicy, onion, lime, sweet caramel and noticeable alcohol. Big bitter finish. It’s kind of an old school IIPA, but clean and well brewed. I really dig these guys. Bottle to pint glass. Citrus and slight pint. Slight tropical aspects. Deep honey gold, clear with white head that leaves a collar. Moderate high citrus with moderate resin and moderate high bitterness (not too high for style). Finishes semi-dry. baraciisch (3547) - California, USA - MAY 4, 2014
Clear dark burnt orange in color... Aroma of citrus hops, pine, huge tropical fruit notes... Flavor is fairly dry and bitter... Lots of pine, grassy, and tropical fruit bitterness... Slight caramel malt notes... Huge bitter DIPA
