At over 100 IBUs, Therapist is surprisingly easy to drink. Big, bold hop aromas and flavors of citrus, tropical fruits and pine are bracketed by light malty sweetness that does not overpower. A healthy addition of wheat in the grain bill adds to the body and mouthfeel.

22oz bottle: Light amber. Light head and lace. Its lifted. Very fresh hoppy nose. Maybe a little too resinous. Orange zest. The palate seems a little lean and very bitter. Its dry and so the bitterness seems a little extreme although probably on style. Another solid West Coast DIPA.

Big malty and hoppy starting off. Wildly bold like an ex with a vengeance. Sweet bitterness toward the back end. Easy to drink considering the ABV...beware.

Mar 2016 - Bottle share at Canary Wharf as Dust Bowl Therapist, 10.4%, with thanks to therapist theydon. Clear dark yellow, still, small foamy off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramelised orange, dense honey - sickly sweet vibe. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is again very sweet, caramel, pine, spicy hops. Not bad, but sweeter than I like.

A hop heavy beautifully smelling and looking beer. Lacks the complexity I would have expected but a refreshing beer - especially given the hops. Citrus and pine balance well. Impressive craftsmanship. Bottle from a random liquor store in union square area of San Fran. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
