Clean golden orange color with a big soapy white head of foam. A big citrus and buzzsawing pine forest hop attack balanced out enough by a caramel malt base that doesn’t get in the way of the pride it takes in the hops on display. Very good Imperial with Central Valley pride to back it. MaBeer1972 (2163) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUL 27, 2017
Bomber from Total W&M in Reno. Poured into a snifter. A slightly hazy deep golden amber with a frothy off white head and lots of lacing. Sweet light malts dominate the aromas and flavors with notes of citrus, fruity, spice, pine and herbal tea. Heavy body. Long bittersweet finish. j.hi (29) - - JUN 1, 2017
Small bubbles. Light color for an IPA. Good pine, a little light on depth. Good hops but not deep flavor. Last well and finishes for long time but a little sharp.

Surprisingly clean looking. Deep resin and clean but strong hops. Thick palate of dense hops and alcohol and warm malts and just generally really nice. Very tasty! (66cl bottle at Caroline’s in Berkeley) VinegarStroke (445) - Napa, California, USA - FEB 12, 2017
22oz bottle: Light amber. Light head and lace. It’s lifted. Very fresh hoppy nose. Maybe a little too resinous. Orange zest. The palate seems a little lean and very bitter. It’s dry and so the bitterness seems a little extreme although probably on style.
Another solid West Coast DIPA.

Big malty and hoppy starting off. Wildly bold like an ex with a vengeance. Sweet bitterness toward the back end. Easy to drink considering the ABV...beware. The_Osprey (9126) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2016

Mar 2016 - Bottle share at Canary Wharf as ’Dust Bowl Therapist’, 10.4%, with thanks to therapist theydon. Clear dark yellow, still, small foamy off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramelised orange, dense honey - sickly sweet vibe. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is again very sweet, caramel, pine, spicy hops. Not bad, but sweeter than I like. A hop heavy beautifully smelling and looking beer. Lacks the complexity I would have expected but a refreshing beer - especially given the hops. Citrus and pine balance well. Impressive craftsmanship.
Bottle from a random liquor store in union square area of San Fran.

Tower 42 Tasting. Thanks to Colin. Bright clear gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is soft, airy and has modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts, mild creamy sweetness. Good hop spice. Pine and orange peel. More spice. Finishes light and semi dry with a little aniseed alcohol. Good.
