Keg tap at the Blue Moon, Cambridge. Straw, clear, with a soft filmy white head. Honey, cereal, candy sugar. A bit musty. Sweet taste with a yeasty savoury edge. Thin body but the carbonation is spot on. Bittersweet hop finish with a bit of umami sneaking in. Long yeasty aftertaste. Yum. Tstamba (775) - Maryland, USA - JAN 12, 2016

Tap Moderate grain for the malt, moderate to heavy grass for the hops, light dried leaves for the yeast, with a hint of coriander. Head is large. frothy, white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear light amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. A real nice and crisp Belgian Ale with nothing offensive about it, I could drink quite a few of these. bhensonb (15204) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 16, 2015
Tap at Monks Cellar in Roseville, CA. Pours gold with a foamy/creamy white head. Aroma is mild yeast/fruit esters. Med body or nearly. Flavor is Belgian lite - yeast/spice, fruity esters, a bit earthy. Everything is rather mild, including the bitterness. Still, tho flavors may not be strong, they are very, very nicely integrated. Highly recommended. ClarkVV (6708) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 21, 2015

Mostly clear pale golden body is topped by a small white head that fades to just a smattering of cover.
Peppery phenols and spicy hops give a dry, aromatic nose and the lower gravity seems to lend a hand in less of the bubble gum/cotton candy of Duvel Senior. Still, a touch of pear skin and very light bubble gum break through, perched on top of light honey and soft, fresh bread-like grains. No alcohol or at most just a touch of dry, perfumey vapor mixed in with the esters.
Good balance to the flavor, which has a moderately sweet maltiness (sugar cookies, sweet white dough) balancing a crisp, lightly bitter happiness augmented by black and white pepper phenols leading to a fairly snappy finish. Quite drinkable and but for just a slight cotton candy-like sugariness that I don’t care for, it’s shockingly good. Much better than the boozy, overly estery Duvel, in my lower abv preferring opinion. Lightly slick texture, moderate, somewhat peppery carbonation.
Pale straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is really soft and
spicy. There’s a nice dry malt aroma and a very lean grassy zesty
aroma. Clean and peppery with a spicy/zesty finish. Quaffable -

Draft. Poured clear yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate fruit and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium yeast bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met. rayaron (1836) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - APR 18, 2015
Draught at Porter & Sons, Tel Aviv. Clear light yellow with small white head. Fruity aroma (pear, melon), yeasty and somewhat earthy, a bit winey. Very fruity flavor (melon, apricot), some graininess, yeasty and earthy, light hoppy bitterness, sweetish semi-dry finish. Moderate carbonation, light to medium-bodied. Nice. kraddel (8145) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 9, 2015
Tap . Pours very clear blonde . Small white head . Smell is malty ( intenser than the usual duvel ) . Taste is bitter-malty . Like a less-intense duvel , but fuller than the ’groen’ in bottles - as far as my memory serves me . jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Draft at Olympic. From notes. Grass and straw with bread and citrus. Some light herbal hops. Good.
