F: big, white, long lasting then collapsing and lasting. C: pale gold, clear. A: malt, fresh citrusy hops, tangerine. T: malty, tangerine, passion fruits, orange, hint of earthy, obviously light IPA character, more than expected, medium body, good carbonation, 25cl bottle from Prik&Tik /Quali-drinks/ in Brussels.

Medium/heavy aroma of malts, malts, Belgian yeast, fruit, hops and citrus.

Clear/hazy yellow/golden beer with a slight/medium off-white head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, Belgian yeast and fruit; ends slightly bitter and slightly/medium dry with hops and citrus.

This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. The aroma has it all, but shamefully the flavour is less complex. Sadly this beer is filtered, Both the appearance, flavour and palate would have benefited if it was unfiltered.

klarowne, jasno złote, obfita śnieżna piana powoli opada do chmurki, ładnie koronkuje;
delikatny - mokra szmatka (trochę w stylu pilsa), pomarańcza;
ciało niskie, wysoko nasycone, finisz goryczkowy;
za aromatem i lekka żywiczna goryczka;
typowy pils z odrobiną pomarańczy.

Bottle of 25cl, in a Duvel glass; from the fridge. Hmmm... It’s a great hoppy beer, but the problem is that Moortgat got the Duvel Triple hop which is far better than this one... Great light hoppy aroma and taste. The coloour is blond with a white foamy head.

VDuquerroux (1686) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - APR 13, 2016
Bottle, 25cL. Home. A pale golden yellow beer ; fizzy ; big white foamy head ; medium retention. Herb (+), lemon, roast, biscuit. Medium dry bitter ; fresh feeling ; light sweet ; warming background. Medium body, thin texture, average to soft carbonation, dry bitter fruity finish. Overall, enjoyable blond hoppy warming ale.

I know this beer because the Duvel brewery is 5km from my home. It is not commercially available in shops or supermarkets but in our region most pubs have it and only bottled in 25cc transparent bottles. It is completely different from the classic Duvel with lower alcohol content and a sweeter taste.

kajser27 (1806) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 31, 2016
Clear, golden colored, moderate to small white head, non lasting. Aroma is some malt, phenolic and bit grassy, bit of fruits. Taste is low to medium sweet malt, caramel, bit fruity, phelonic, spicy, bit bready in the finish, grassy low to medium bitterness. Medium- bodied and carbonation. (bottle, Duvel brewery shop)

adamnowek (2719) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2016
Clear golden with a colossal, dense head. Aroma is grass and marijuana. Soft texture with low carbonation. Slightly sour finish.

Visuel : Couleur : dorée-jaune. Apparence : claire.

Aroma is not that great, it has basement and barnyard aromas. Taste is better, lightly bitter but there is not so much character in it. Color is very pale yellow. Finish is astringent and longish. Beer feels fizzy and lively in mouth. Overall drinkable but somewhat average experience.
