Slightly more bitter than traditional Duvel, but equally fresh and deceivingly light. Medium body, the trademark Duvel foam top and lively carbonation. Lovely hop sense and taste, reminds of flowers and herbs. The 2012 version was marginally better, but this one is excellent as well. evergreen0199 (3369) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2013 Bottle consumed at the bar of Terre de Boissons, Coquelles, France. A hazy golden coloured pour with a healthy white fluffy head on top. Hoppy, citrus, yeasty aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus fruit, yeasty, bitter and slightly dry. Very good. Plaas (92) - Alkmaar, NETHERLANDS - JUN 2, 2013
I liked this one better than last year’s edition. Soriachi is great stuffs, it gives the Duvel a fruity, "winy" taste. But it is a Duvel, still... Way too much carbonation, lacks refinement, just as we know it. Not as special as Moortgat’s marketeers want you to believe. mutz (1073) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 1, 2013
RexTalionis (3752) - FINLAND - MAY 31, 2013
Bottle 33 cl, BBE 07/2015. Pours clear pale golden in color with a white head. Floral notes, old soap and fruity citrus in aroma. A bit dusty in taste, some yeasty notes too. Perfume, lavender soap and hints of bready malts in taste. There’s also a green bitterness in taste which later on turns to a more fruitier and lemony juicyness kind-of-taste. Less sweet than regular Duvel. Summer meadow with a light yeasty spicy twist, well perhaps there’s just a little bit of sweetness too in finish.

Bottled, clear yellow gold pour, frothy foam , lacy with yeasty fruit aroma, first impression of flavor is sour cream and onion potato chips, some candied sugar, sweet fonish citydave (69) - - MAY 30, 2013
Very strong hops in aroma and taste as to be expected. Not my thing but i can appreciate it. Hanoi (951) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2013
Nose has banana, leading down to some soft fruits and then a classic straw, mint and hops notes of straight duval. Taste, is lots of yeast notes, giving lactose, strawberry, white peach with soft lemony hops. Finish is sweet, and then dry, with lots of cereal and soft fruits.
Mouthfeel is too carbonated for me, as with all duvels, and is slick and oily.
A much better beer than the 2012 Dry Hop being much more balanced. The move to more flavours from the yeast is welcome, zvikar (6172) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - MAY 29, 2013
Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks DSG. Pours yellow hazy with a huge head, aroma of mint, cheese, rosemary, garlic and greenness, flavor is sweet, mint, lemon, rosemary, lavender, herbs, medium bodied spacecube (1720) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2013
330 ml bottle, clear light golden brown pour with a big foamy head. This has all the characteristics of a Duvel, banana, clove, spice, belgian yeast, with added citrus from the hop and a bitter finish. Slightly resiny mouthfeel.
