Very nice aroma, very delicate bubbles. Hazy golden color. Very nice mouth feel. An excellent classic Belgian beer good for all seasons. Little to no hops, but citrus in flavor.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2017 Bottle at home. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. It tastes very bitter and strong with a little bit of fruitiness to it. Certainly not a boring beer. You either love it or hate it.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2017 Typisk belgisk i arom. Jästig, Torr med påtaglig och ihållande beska. Kolsyran gör sig påmind till en början.

Very good Belgian beer. Seasonally speaking, I prefer to drink this beer from October to March. Underestimated in my country (Serbia), yet pretty available. Colour: lear yellow, with thick white head. Intense fruity scent, with a bit more alcoholic taste. Light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2017 Pięknie prezentujące się piwo, w kolorze jasnego złota, klarowne z czapą białej piany. Aromat kwiatowy, owocowy. W smaku lekko słodowo, kwiaty, trochę trawy, lekko kwaskowe. Finisz lekko wytrawny. Zdradliwie pijalne

One of the best beers in the world. Aplreance: The appearance can't get any better. Big, frothy white head that does not dissipate. The color of the liquid is golden (if you leave the yeast in the bottle). Extremely carbonated. Smell: Very floral, spicy and citrusy. Taste: Dry. Fruity notes of lime, lemon zest and pear. You get sweetness from the malts and a peppery/acid flavor from the unique yeast. Finish: Dry with a bit of bitterness. Overall: Extraordinary! One of the best beers I've tasted. Very complex, yet refreshing. 10/10.

Bill Becker (1769) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 20, 2017
From Mar 2007 Pours from 11.2oz bottle(room temp) a clear light gold with a huge billowy head of foam that hardly shrinks at all and has lots of lovely lacing. The smell is very floral with strong notes of yeast and hops. Very nice.. The taste has a nice sour-bitterness(lemon?) up front with a lot of malty tones in the background and a heaping helping of yeastiness that is very complex and tasty. At 8.5%abv, there's some warming as it goes down but it doesn't show up too much in the taste at all. Very very nice indeed. The sourish finish is also very flavourful and lingering and that demands my taking another sip...great stuff! I'm just pouring the last bit into my glass and I'm getting some sediment making for a more cloudy appearance and wow...the malt just kicked it up a few notches and some apple and clove. So many flavours come out of this brew during various times in the session. You just *can't* lose interest...it refuses to let you. ;^) Bottom line: This is a very tasty Golden Ale that I've enjoyed every time I've had it. Highly recommended!!
