Filtered, and lagered but unpasteurised.
Launched in 2000 as Jenlain Blonde. Changed to Jenlain No. Six in March 2005, with Jenlain Blonde name being used for a new 7.5% beer.
With its splendid golden hues and fruity tones, Jenlain No. Six has a distinctive bitter finish and a hoppy nose. The barley-scented liquor sparkles under its light, foamy head. Light and thirst-quenching, with a rich characteristic savour, it is best served at between 5 and 6°C, with a meal or as an aperitif.

olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2012
330ml bottle. Pours a pale yellow. Quite carbonated, small head. Surrenders (pun intended) carbonation quickly. Tastes quite hoppy but a stale after tatse

Gachupines (1252) - USA - NOV 19, 2012
Hazy golden color with a thin lacing of white head. Aroma is a little musty but overall nondescript. Flavor is like a musty Budweiser or other American lager. Vague notes of toffee malt in the finish, leaves a distinctly unpleasant aftertaste. Not crazy about this at all.

bergstaden (2975) - Røros, NORWAY - OCT 13, 2012
Golden with a white head - nice malt aroma - good malt body with some bitterness - long malty ending with some bitterneotes - this was good

dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - AUG 20, 2012
Can. Aroma is murky bready malt, some faint flowery hops. Meh. Flavour is bready malt, faint malts, some dusty old malt. Meh.

Beer5000 (6483) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 4, 2012
330 ml can. Clear pale golden body with a white head. A bit weak in aroma, mild malt and slightly spicy/fruity yeast. Flavor is soft, light and sweet malty, fruity, spicy and refreshing. Noting really exiting but a decent thirst quencher.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 28, 2012
Test vom 2.8.2009, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 9,7,8,7,9,7 - 7,45

kevnic2008 (11996) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - MAY 12, 2012
An ordinary pale lager, clear gold color. Simple corn/malt flavor. Not offensive in any way and very drinkable.

Bought a pack of these from a French Hypamarket: 25cl throw away green bottles, just for drinking in the kitchen while cooking and stuff over Christmas, saved one to review at leasure (Jan 2012). They were great just for ’out the neck’ quaffing in the hot surrounds of the cooker but didn’t really notice the taste etc, I just ’necked’ them. This bottle however will get some respect: poured into an ’Augustijn’ labelled chalice. It looked like your typical European lager/pilsner. Light golden body, bright, clean and clear, on top the usual white head that refuses to hang around. The smell was slightly metallic with hints of a hop (yes, you read that correctly, a hop). The beer is supposed to be filtered, and lagered but unpasteurised. So it’s a lager then! The regular lager/pilsner body depth is almost reached, but this is a bit thinner and weaker really, the 6% ABV isn’t hidden too well and the flavours are not strong either:it’s a cheap supermarket lager in all aspects. Strange how I enjoyed just drinking this beer a lot more than I have dissecting and reviewing it. The beer had a chance to warm up a bit too as I wrote this review, you don’t want to drink this unless it is cold, trust me!

JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 6, 2012
Bottle, 33 cl. Almost clear golden beer, some sediments though. No head at all (bbd 01/10 12). Aroma is sweet spicy, flowery and light fruity with notes of toasted malts, bread, honey, straw, abricot, grass. Taste is sweet and spicy, some phenols, grassy hops. Very flat carbonation, light watery mouthfeel, medium bodied. Dry medium bitter finish. Quite refreshing, quite complex for a lager, but could do with a bit more body.

Hansen (8595) - Assentoft, DENMARK - FEB 24, 2012
Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is sweet and malty, light bread. Flavor is sweet too, finish lightly bitter. Syrupy texture and soft carbonation.
