On tap. Pours yellow with huge fluffy head and excellent lacing. Aroma is flowery and cirtusy, possibly lemon. Taste is dry and citrus with some excellent spicy undertones. I really liked this one. Can't wait to have it again. jaymobrown (1845) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 24, 2003
Light pale straw color. Really bright gueze type nose. Straw, horse blanket. Really alive fizzy mouthfeel. Mostly malt flavors with some caramel and alcohol. Some citrus and rye as well. Dry finish. JoeM500 (1909) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - NOV 21, 2003
The very dominant feature of this beer was it's dryness. After several of us finished our initial gulp we looked parched and ravished by thirst! Interesting citrus nose, medium to light bodied, with citric, acidic and hoppy flavors. So dry at the end and quite belly warming. Strange stuff. I've never seen this stuff before, but it looks like I missed some draft versions over the Summer!!! BBB63 (6567) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - NOV 20, 2003
Yellow hue with a good fizzy white head and lace. Some floaties in the beer. Aroma was yeasty (sweat and earth), dark bread, cereal, floral hops, lemon, vanilla, and dust. Traditional tasting, dry and dusty with a sweet malt and nice citric tone. Good spice character on the finish. Very dry and very fizzy mouthfeel. A quaffable brew but the dryness was too much, I needed a glass of water after drinking this beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 27, 2003
(draft): Hazy yellow body with big rocky white head. Aroma is lemon, strong Belgian yeasty. Medium sweet, lemon, spicy, yeast. Medium-light body, lightly carbonated

Draught at the Maproom, Chicago. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with an average, but persistent head. The aroma was strongly hoppy for a Belgian. Bitter, but not terribly so, with a good bit of citrus to compliment the typical Belgian elements. Earthy and grassy, this beer really makes an impression, with the strong hop presence dominating the malt. Really a strong beer. omhper (26207) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2002

Golden coloured, lightly hazy. Interesting orangey nose. Dry and medium bodied. Big, spicy nutmeg flavour, a hint of vanilla. Sparkling mouthfeel. Lingering nutmeggy, dry and bitter finish.
Cloudy yellow appearance with an interesting bready/cheesy aroma Hop bitterness is rather refined and rather musty/oaky flavor. Ernest (7935) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 27, 2002
Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Body is murky dark yellow, dense large particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs, citrus - lemon), moderately yeasty (dough), with a strong coriander note. Flavor is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, moderately acidic. Finish is moderately bitter, moderately acidic. Medium body, dry and watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly astringent, lightly alcoholic. Too dry and acidic for my tastes.
