2008 bottle thanks to Bu11zeye at the BTBF-eve tasting. Pink hazy pour. Aroma is cherry fried pie, light funk, solid amount of cherry for a 5 year old bottle. Flavor is lightly tart, tons of cherry. A lot like NB transatlantique kriek. Bitter finish. blutt59 (6609) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 16, 2013

Pours dark red, with a white pink head. Smells sweet cherry, that doesnt sound good... Does it? And off course we have a sweet cherry candy taste, smth i really hate in fruit sours..sour? Nothing sour here though. Bit dry, not balanced... No really, give me the real stuff.

75cl bottle with friends @ Diest Bierfest 20th Oct 2012.
Pours a true red colour with a salmon pink thin head on top.
Cherries being the main flavouring within the beer, they obviously lead the way in the aroma and taste: not as sour or powerful as say a Rodenbach Grand Cru but this isn’t from Flanders and although not sweet either it comes across as an easy going kriekbier that is well crafted and blended nicely. Based I believe around the Loterbol Blonde, but don’t quote me on that.
The only kriek we had at the festival and very pleasant it was too.

Bright ruby red pour with a pink head. There’s a ton of sweet cherry aroma, a light metallic character, some grass, and a hint of lactic tartness. There’s a fair amount of malt sweetness, too. Tastes just okay. A decent cherry flavor, but definitely quite sweet. Some metallic notes, straw, grass, and mild lemon zest. A hint of cherry candy. madmitch76 (26413) - , Essex, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2012

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Hazy red brown beer, little pink head. Light dry palate. Fresh cherry and raspberry fruits but not sweet. Pitty fruits. Light dry finish.
Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Vintage 2010. A bit gusher. Pours hazy purple with a fine, white head. Loads of ripe cherries in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate tang, some bitter cherry pits, grape skins. Light to medium bodied with high carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with ripe cherries, light funk, bitter fruit skins. Light tartness. Quite nicely balanced, with decent and lasting bitterness. Good. sm89walt (2082) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 20, 2012
Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. Poured a fairly dark pink with a pink-hued one finger head. Tart fruits (cherry, raspberry & strawberry) with some farmyard, yeast & straw aromas. Cherry, bitter fruit skin & some sugar to taste. Good tartness with an underlying, relatively soft sweetness. Light to medium body, medium to full carbonation with a medium length & intensity sourness in the finish. jackl (8555) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2012
