Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF tasting 2012. Pours a cloudy red with a pink head. Raspberry, strawberry and sour cherry aroma. Tart fruit flavour, strawberries, cherries. Nice. Scopey (16264) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2012
Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours cloudy deep red, with a light pink head. The nose is tart fruit, red berry and light spice. The taste is slightly tart, raspberry, sour cherry, lemon, wood and some underlying sweetness, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. A bit one-dimensional, but pretty tasty nonetheless. thepeter (326) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2012
A - Pours a dark pink, light pink fuzzy head that did not last and left little lacing, mostly clear and a nice hue in the light.
S - a sweet, sour funky combo with an acidic bite at the end of the whiff. The sweet is like candy but not in a bad way or artificial
T - Funk right off the bat leading into acidi taste then a cherry pit nuttiness and ending with a slight sweet and sour combo. Very nice but honestly could have less of the nutty/bitter flavor and more of the sweet and sour flavors
M/D - Very drinkable, a bit more carbonated than i like. I figured it would settle down but it never did. Light bodied and a bit thin at times. Bart (2936) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 6, 2012
Bottle @ home. Roodebol version 2010. Bottle keeps on gushing quitely. Dark reddish coloured beer with quite some carbonatation and a medium off white head. Light sour sweer cherry fruity balanced aroma. Medium to full light fruity refreshing hinted palate. Finish is sour sweet and fruity cherry infused balanced. Nice, not too expressive but overall decent fruit beer. Martinus (4737) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - MAR 26, 2012

Deep purple to red colour woth a pinkish head. Smells sour, fruity, sharp. Tastes cherry, sharp, sour but also a bit watery. Thin palate, watery, okay carbo.
750mL bottle purchased at Bierkoning on my Amsterdam trip in October, 2011 and shared at a KC gathering. 2008 bottle consumer in 2011. Pours with a thick head that fades quickly. Color is thick dark red. Aroma shows signs of age but cherry dominates. There is sweet yet natural cherry aroma with a natural musky element. As someone at the gathering stated, its like cherry pie. Flavor sweet pie with tart cherry at the back of the flavor. No age in the flavor. Mouthfeel is light and tangy. The beer is a nice fruit-beer beer akin to New Glarus but a but more natural with the musk. Pricey but fun if you want a non-artificial cherry beer. wekker84 (2530) - etten-leur, NETHERLANDS - JAN 16, 2012
750 ml bottle a dark red colored beer with a white head aroma cherries sourness fruit some sugar and spicy flavor cherries sourness fruits some sweetness spicy and some sourness in the finish theisti (4237) - Kansas, USA - DEC 5, 2011
750 ml bottle shared by beastiefan2k. Pour is a lightly hazed ruby red, with a brilliant white head. Aroma is cinnamon, cherry fruit, along with warming sugar sweet malt. Taste is the cherry up front, tannin cherry skin, and the warming cinnamon malt, and then thins out with a clean fruit finish (cherry plus some sweeter strawberry). As it warms, a touch of tartness enters the picture, though this was certainly not the main story. Palate is light bodied, along with soft natural carbonation, body thins way out in the finish. Interesting, though the fruit is a bit less assertive than I normally enjoy in this type of beer. Thanks for sharing this Eugene.
