(Cold) hazy, dark red beer with medium, pink-coloured headd. Fresh cherry juice nose, some faraway wood (served terribly cold), and more than in the taste, alcohol. Sharpish cherry flavour, bit of cinnamon retronasal. Virtually no sweetness, sharp but not agressive acids Apart from the obvious cherry flavours, I detect some flavour as from red beets, strangely. Rather light body, acids helping; lipsmacking tartnes; Good kriek, not overly assertive, but very satisfying. Like it. gyllenbock (10025) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 30, 2016
Sample at SBWF 2016.
Reddish with a small head. Aroma of berries, funk and some hay. Similar taste. The finish was quite sour.

750mL courtesy of Travlr. Pours a clear pink with a large, fizzy, pinke head that has very good retention and lace. Aroma is cherry pie, baked cherries, burnt currant. Taste is spritzy raspberry seltzer water, lots of mineral water, missing the body. No sourness or kriek notes. daniele (9888) - ITALY - APR 28, 2010

Pours clear red, small white head. Smell is cherrie, rather pure no funk or sweetness. Taste is mildly dry, full-on cherries, with a hint of natural funkyness. Very aromatic in the ending. Intense, for sure, on the cherrie side. Very one dimentionnal though. Boring, and basically this could be looked at as liquid cherrie. More of a fan of fruitbeers, where there actually is a ’beer’ taste as well. This has got no malts, hops, yeast, or anything else. Its not terrible, but who can drink a full 75 cl bottle of something this boring ?

750ml bottle pours a translucent, purple red with a little creamy, pink head. Aroma is fruity, musty, sweet, strawberry, cherry, lightly cheesy. Flavor has an intense cherry pie flavor, strawberry jam. Heavy carbonation, medium bodied. Not too tart/sour. Hansen (8618) - Assentoft, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2016
Ruby colored and almost clear. A pink head lasting. Acidic and cherry aroma and flavor. jackl (8535) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. Massive gusher, this bottle. Pours deep hazy red with a medium white head. The nose is loads of cherry, strawberry, sweet sugar. The taste is light tart cherries, a bit of funk and yeast. Light body, fairly soft. Decent. BlackHaddock (7953) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2012
75cl bottle with friends @ Diest Bierfest 20th Oct 2012.
Pours a true red colour with a salmon pink thin head on top.
Cherries being the main flavouring within the beer, they obviously lead the way in the aroma and taste: not as sour or powerful as say a Rodenbach Grand Cru but this isn’t from Flanders and although not sweet either it comes across as an easy going kriekbier that is well crafted and blended nicely. Based I believe around the Loterbol Blonde, but don’t quote me on that.
The only kriek we had at the festival and very pleasant it was too. SaintMatty (7603) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2010
750ml Bottle - Red with a pink head. Cherry and almonds in the aroma. Tart and sweet taste with cherry, almonds and jam. Not too sweet and not too tart. Nicely balanced.
