UPDATED: OCT 15, 2013 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBESG 2013. 2010 Vintage. Pours dark raspberry red with a pinkish head. Nose is very full of fruits, more cherry than kriek, light raspberry, almost cloying, very jam-like. Taste is blend of cherries & kriek, less tang than I am used of the kiek (the fruit), light hint of iron (maybe the age), touch thin but very easy to drink, oodles of fruit, somewhat fruit sweety with a jam impression, kriek pits in there, light berries in s pices in the finish. Fine carb. very easy to drink. Would have been superb with some sourness but as this stands this is pretty much what a fruit beer should be, fruits & not chemical nonsense. Great stuff. ///// Shared another 75 cl. bottle @ RBBSG II, total gusher & not bad but not as good as the firt time around, bit too metallic & thin, same vintage, keeping previous score for now Grzesiek79 (4379) - Radom, POLAND - APR 1, 2017
Many thanks for this amazing beer to tderoeck. Vintage 2010. Siedmio letnie piwo owocowe. Gdybym mial zawiazane oczy to bym powiedzial ze pieje porzadnego Oude Krieka. Doskonaly wyglad rozowo-czerwona barwa, piana srednia jasno rozowa szybko opada. Metniste na dnie wersji bez etykiety z pszewieszka tylko. Cudowny aromat porzeczek, malini wisni. W smaku owocowa pelnia, na poczatku lekko slodkie przypominalo tarte alzacka wysmarowana dzemem malinowo wisniowym. Potem im wiekszy lyk z osadem tym bardziej kwaskowe i cierpkie czerwone porzeczki, kwaskowosc zdecydowanie bierze gore, dominuje a wokolo caly czas unosi sie won sadu mlodych drzew owocowych. Jeden z moich Top 10 Fruit beer. Rozkosz ta idealne wspolgrala z gesia watrobka. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - OCT 4, 2008

Red colour, medium carbonation. Smell of cherry’s. Nice balance between sweet, sour and bitter. Not overly sweet. Good fruit beer. Dry finish. Stuu666 (14543) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 22, 2015
Bottle at gent beer festival. Pours deep purple red, nose is cherry, funky, taste is tart, dry, fruity. JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - SEP 23, 2007
(Cold) hazy, dark red beer with medium, pink-coloured headd. Fresh cherry juice nose, some faraway wood (served terribly cold), and more than in the taste, alcohol. Sharpish cherry flavour, bit of cinnamon retronasal. Virtually no sweetness, sharp but not agressive acids Apart from the obvious cherry flavours, I detect some flavour as from red beets, strangely. Rather light body, acids helping; lipsmacking tartnes; Good kriek, not overly assertive, but very satisfying. Like it. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 1, 2009
