Bottle: Almost clear, bigger loose pinkish head, that quite quickly collapses, deep reddish-amber coloured; dry sourish fruity (cherries, what else) and - not artificial(!) - almondy nose with some malt underneath; quite dry sour-bitter flavour with a well hidden sweetness, medium bodied; solid fruity and almondy finish, balanced by a delicate malty sweetness. What a surprise! A fine brew...... Benzai (17008) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 10, 2012

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours cloudy deep red, with a light pink head. The nose is tart fruit, red berry and light spice. The taste is slightly tart, raspberry, sour cherry, lemon, wood and some underlying sweetness, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. A bit one-dimensional, but pretty tasty nonetheless. planky84 (3722) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2012

Bottled @ RBESG 2013 Grand Tasting. Dark reddish color, short head. Aroma of loads of cherries and cherry pits, marzipan. Soft sourness, quite fruity. Got some bitterness as well, but mostly lots of fruity sweetness. Little too much carbonation. Lots of fruit, could have used a bit more sourness. Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this 2008 bottle at the pre-BTBF tasting. Red pour with a white head. The aroma is full of slightly tart cherries and a bit of biscuit malt. The flavor follows suit with a lot of sweet, sugary cherry notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - APR 29, 2016
