2007 Bottle at Heeren van Liedekercke. Pours bright clear copper with beige bubbles. Aroma of lightly sour pale non- prunus fruits. Flavor is mildly oxidized sour fruit- could be pear or apple. Quite mild - easy drinker. SkillsFactory (738) - ITALY - JAN 7, 2016
2012, 10,6%, 37,5 cl.
375 ml bottle to teku (2012 vintage, shared by Dogbones). Looks solid; a cloudy orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing and some sediment at the bottom. Smells like a sweeter geuze with nicely balanced notes of funk and citrus. Tastes like it smells with a bit of a floral presence as well. Mouthfeel is medium full-bodied. Unique and enjoyable. hackobock (4045) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 17, 2015
September 17, 2015. Bottle at home, vintage 2012. Mortlach (2355) - Rome, ITALY - SEP 6, 2015
Hazy orange with a small frothy, quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is grain, lemon, light funk, barnyard, oak, light earth and minerals. Taste is light sweet with pear and almond notes with funky earthy and tart lemon notes. Finish is warming alcohol, sweet pears, hints of almonds and a soft citrusy tartness. Medium bodied, oily texture with a dry note, soft small bubble carbonation.
Both the tripel and lambic notes are present and work quite nice together even though I prefer them separated.
375ml bottle shared @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Pours hazy golden with a medium to little white head. Aroma of barnyard, hay, dusty cellar, caramel, alcol. Flavour is halfway between a belgian strong and a sour ale. Full body, medium to strong carbonation. A bit rough, but ok.

Bottle courtesy of Dunbar. Pours hazy tiny burnt golden with a small frothy offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty, tiny fruity and slightly funky with crackers, biscuits, cereal, lemon juice, pears, hay, dry soil, leather, barnyard, lemon zest and hints of rubber. Taste is tiny sour, tiny bitter, slightly malty, tiny fruity and slightly funky. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, very tiny tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, tiny sour and tiny bitter with bread, cereal, lemon juice, leather, hay, minerals, barnyard and lemon zest. Kinda cool but not very distinguished... blankboy (7714) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2015
[My bottle (375ml) shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o Glouglouburp] 2006 vintage! Pours a cloudy orange-amber with a small diminishing frothy white head. Nice aroma, funky and sour along with a bit of cheese and some light tart citrus. Flavour: Whoa, sharper and more sour then expected with a long finish -- I wonder if it’s gotten more sour with age. Average to medium bodied. Different and pretty great. Thanks Dany! sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 2, 2015
375ml bottle, 2012 vintage, thanks Henrik! Pours a clear amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is funky, acetic, lemon, oak, familiar lambic funk. Medium to heavy on the palate with light carbonation. Flavor is lightly tart, some malty sweetness, maybe a little caramel, a little nutty, some oak, some tart funkiness, a hint of booze, with a light funky finish. Interesting. Smell is very familiar lambic, but the flavor is very different. witthatsbier (569) - glasgow, SCOTLAND - APR 18, 2015
