On tap at Plan B, Copenhagen. Served a clear, dark brown body under a nice, beige head. Roasted malt, toffee, some wet grains and a hint of wet cardboard in the aroma. Roasted flavor with toffee, coffee and a nice hoppyness. Medium to full body and a roasted finish with some bitterness. There seems to be a house charachter on the beers from Chyne, and I’m not sure I like it. Decent beer though. (080913) fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2008

On tap at Plan B. Black with a russet tint, and nice display of laceworks. Sweet, malt-fruity smell. Light roasted malt in flavour with notes of butter caramel. Soft carbonated. Watered, but ok drinkability (Copenhagen, 15.09.2008)

Medium brown lasting head. Hazy deep brown almost opaque body. Sulphury coffee aroma with rye notes. Dry-sweet burnt rye grain taste with sugary notes. Very harmonic and delicate. Mid- to thin body. Dry straw, chocolate, and coffee aftertaste with floral peppery hop notes. Dry burnt rice and coffee taste settles in the mouth as you drink. Very nice! Grew on me as I drank. Ruby, almost black beer. Dry cocoa, bittersweet beer, some burned sugar. Nice. JorisPPattyn (9981) - Ursel, BELGIUM - SEP 20, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Draught Very dense & creamy head (N²?) over fully dark ruby-mahogany beer. Very nice roasted, sweet and blackmalts, chocolate sauce as on Dame Blanche. Very stoutlike taste, sweet, roasted to burnt, as well as a light sourish edge. Medium bodied at best, head is velvety, beer quite smooth. I guess this makes for a perfect bottom-fermented Guinness clone... OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 17, 2008

B, Copenhagen. Dark brown with a ruby hue. Thin beige head. Modest aroma of lightly toasted dark malts along with a scent of mouldy cellar. Roasted malt flavor supported by a fine bitterness and some coffee notes. Body is light to medium. Soft moutfeeel. Short, malty and gently bitter ending.
On tap @ Plan B. Dark reddish brown body with a dense beige head. Pleasant aroma of caramel. Nice, fruity, caramel roasted malt flavor. A nice balanced; refreshing beer with a long, smooth finish. Not particular hoppy.
