[email protected] B, Copenhagen. Dark brown with a ruby hue. Thin beige head. Modest aroma of lightly toasted dark malts along with a scent of mouldy cellar. Roasted malt flavor supported by a fine bitterness and some coffee notes. Body is light to medium. Soft moutfeeel. Short, malty and gently bitter ending.

On tap @ Plan B. Dark reddish brown body with a dense beige head. Pleasant aroma of caramel. Nice, fruity, caramel roasted malt flavor. A nice balanced; refreshing beer with a long, smooth finish. Not particular hoppy.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of caramel, medium notes of malt, and light notes of butter. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt, which makes the finish dry, but also with notes of caramel, and light notes of butter, a bit too much butter for my liking.

From tap at Plan B. Pours dark brown with a minimal orange glare and a creamy tan head. Light earthy and roasted malt aroma. Breadish and mild roasted malt flavour with a light chocolate smoothness. Light butterish accent to the roasted malt and mild acidic touch. Lingering breadish and mild sugarish touch into the finish.

henrikb (1264) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2007
Very dark brown body with a very creamy dark beige head; Not to big very clean malty sharp nose with lots of cocoa beans and cold pipe tobacco aromas, notes of fried fruits behind; Very soft textured body, very soft carbonation, balanced bitter sweet, full; Very full finish, sharp malty bitter, malty sweet, soft sweet English licorice, cocoa bean, sweet tobacco and some dried nuts, walnut and almond. Nice full dark beer that still have lots of malty bitter freshness that makes it very drinkable.
