From tap at Plan B. Pours dark brown with a minimal orange glare and a creamy tan head. Light earthy and roasted malt aroma. Breadish and mild roasted malt flavour with a light chocolate smoothness. Light butterish accent to the roasted malt and mild acidic touch. Lingering breadish and mild sugarish touch into the finish. Ungstrup (37625) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 9, 2008
Draft. A dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of caramel, medium notes of malt, and light notes of butter. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt, which makes the finish dry, but also with notes of caramel, and light notes of butter, a bit too much butter for my liking. joergen (28148) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2009

Draught at Hotel Victor, Prague. Near black, creamy head. Lightly sweet with coffeeish, roasty malt dominating. Above medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and slight caramel, fairly low bitterness. An elegant, well controlled Czech dark lager, techincally perfect. I just struggle to find real soul.

On tap at Plan B, Copenhagen. Served a clear, dark brown body under a nice, beige head. Roasted malt, toffee, some wet grains and a hint of wet cardboard in the aroma. Roasted flavor with toffee, coffee and a nice hoppyness. Medium to full body and a roasted finish with some bitterness. There seems to be a house charachter on the beers from Chyne, and I’m not sure I like it. Decent beer though. (080913) Dedollewaitor (16159) - Odense, DENMARK - FEB 7, 2011
