Pours deep mahogany with a tiny, off-white, creamy head. Aroma is nicely roasted, light chocolate, caramel. Lowish carbonation and a fine, dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, but an elegant dryness balances it well. Some roasted notes. Fine.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Draught Very dense & creamy head (N²?) over fully dark ruby-mahogany beer. Very nice roasted, sweet and blackmalts, chocolate sauce as on Dame Blanche. Very stoutlike taste, sweet, roasted to burnt, as well as a light sourish edge. Medium bodied at best, head is velvety, beer quite smooth. I guess this makes for a perfect bottom-fermented Guinness clone...
