on tap at the brewery, spring 2006. This was a special edition called "Kladenka". Enormously large head, nearly black colour. Tastes of roasted malts and coffee, as well as bitter chocolate. Slightly hoppy aftertaste. TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 10, 2009
Draught at the brewpub, a cloudy light brown with a large creamy off-white head. A strong orange and caramal malt aroma. A fuller mouthfeel, well balanced between the malt and hops. Citrus flavours come from the hops, along with coffee tones from the malt, along with stewed fruits and some caramal. A bittering swallow. Such complexity! henrikb (1263) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2007
Very dark brown body with a very creamy dark beige head; Not to big very clean malty sharp nose with lots of cocoa beans and cold pipe tobacco aromas, notes of fried fruits behind; Very soft textured body, very soft carbonation, balanced bitter sweet, full; Very full finish, sharp malty bitter, malty sweet, soft sweet English licorice, cocoa bean, sweet tobacco and some dried nuts, walnut and almond.
