Cask Conditioned at The Horse & Groom, Caulcott. Dark black beer with red hints, tan head. Licorice flavours dominate, with coffee and some ripe fruit. Dark and bitter soul, a proper Irish Stout. Seek this one out if you can. DrBeer (862) - Solna Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 14, 2003
Blackred beer with beige head.
No notes on the aroma I´m afraid. Maybe I forgot or didn´t it have any.
Fruity flavour with tones of coffee and chocolate.

Very dark with a nice creamy head. Has a sweet aroma. Flavor is a little coffee, and with some bitterness. Salty. madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 26, 2003
Draught: Pure black coloured. Head is huge and creamy. Aroma is roasty and coffeish. Flavour is roasted coffee with some toffee accents. Ends up in a faboulous bitterness on the palate. Last long. Definately better than Murphys and Guiness. Ungstrup (37684) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2003
A black beer with a light creamy head. The aroma is smoked and sweet. The flavor is creamy and smoked from a good malt blend. It is very smooth for a smoked stout - great taste which makes it a good beer. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 22, 2003
