strongish amber ale, would’ve been a winter warmer except the brewpub served it so damned cold! malty, slightly sweet honey flavour Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - JAN 24, 2004
Draught, at McCarthy’s, Kenmare, Ireland.</br> Honey amber coloured body with a big, Guinness-like head. Slowly settling this was the closest I came in Ireland to a real ale. Hints of malt and real ale sweetness. Alcohol note noticeable. Was consumed right next to an open fire on a very could night in green, green, Ireland. I can recommend this pub, the service and food was first class.
