Draught @ E.J. Phair Brewing Co. and Alehouse, Concord, CAyngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 7, 2013
Pours clear orange/brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and dried fruits. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a caramel and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap at E.J Phair Concorde pub. It’s an unclear amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick light beige head. Lacing. The aroma is on the malty side with some toffee and a faint roasted note. Some prune as well. It’s full bodied and soft on the palate, with a faint bitterness trying to deal with the malts. It’s not sweet, just malty, toffee, prunes and some roasted hints. Short finish. Not a very interesting one, flawless but boring. 130807 Geokkjer (7647) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 7, 2013

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a nice golden color with a big off white head. The aroma has some citrus fruit, grapes and bread. The flavor is lightly bready and a bit watery. Kind of bland. Not what I was expecting from a Scotch Ale. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - SEP 3, 2012
