Shared 375ml bottle. Pours dark ruby with a short-lived pink head. Aroma of cherry, oak and funk. Taste is tart cherries, funk, oak, a bit acidic, but not overly so. Finish is moderately tart. Very good. darbeer75 (909) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Aroma: sweet and sour with lots of cherry; Appearance: dark brown/red pour with no head; Taste: follows nose; tart but not complex; Palate: light bodied with long sweet finish; Overall: fine but not memorable. Would probably not get again. popery (2170) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 15, 2017
375 ml bottle. The beer is a dark but bright red. Somewhat hazy. Small fizzy off white head. The aroma has a whole lot of cherry in it. Juicy. Cheesy funk underneath the fruit. Light oak. Taste has light to moderate tartness. A little kick of oaky bitterness in the finish. Cherries are a bit more restrained than in the aroma, and the funk is felt a bit more. Never gets too puckery. Fairly refined, dry cherry flavor in the taste. Really quite nice. A touch of butter, possibly from the wood, works nicely. Light and easy to drink. Great beer. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 4, 2017
375, corked and baled. Wow, great tip, S! This stuff is incredible. Pours a murky bright rubied garnet with a thin fizzy ring that settles off the top quickly. Bright tangy sweet beautiful snack cherries, lots of fruit sugar, but it tastes like real fruit sugar, like you’re drinking something that came off a tree. Creamy medium body with moderate carb. Bright tangy sweet beautiful tree fruit on the mid palate, nice acidic balance, beautiful body to it. Long tangy lingering finish.
