Poured a deep orange with small white head that lasted only a while. Aroma simple of sweet grapefruit and perhaps mandarine orange with hints of white bread. Flavour initially sweet but that switches quickly to strong rounded grapefruit rind bitterness, lasting into an incredibly long dry piney finish. Medium body, with incredibly long and dry bitterness, a touch oily on palate. Overall quite enjoyable, though strength of bitterness may be overpowering other flavours. mkel07 (6195) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 27, 2016
Bottle from Copper and Oak Liquor Merchants 270516. Another beer from across the other side of the country and one that you never see in bottle shops around here, thank god for the Internet. Looks the goods when poured into the glass and first impressions that you get from the deep copper colour is that this beer is going to be good, and it doesn’t let you down. A tidy beige head hovers above the beer and there is a sweetness in the aroma that is carried through into the flavour. There is a good balance of malt and hops and the balance is just right. Even though the body of this beer seems a bit thin when you look at it it does have some substance to it when it is in the mouth. KeefOz (1872) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - APR 12, 2016
Tasted 5/4/2016. Draught at Eagle Bay Brewery, Dunsborough, WA. Poured a crystal clear golden amber with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished slowly and laced very well. Carbonation high with medium sized bubbles. Aroma strongly of citrus/grapefruit, pine and malt. Taste of nice moderate strength grapefruit with pine and malt; nice pine flavours on the back palate. Light to medium body. Crisp with a nice moderate strength bitterness on the finish. Nice! Woodspop (14) - Rivervale, AUSTRALIA - MAY 8, 2015
Bought for when we went to watch the eagles for the first time. Nice tasting, not alot of head. stevoj (5349) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 7, 2015
Mild pine resin aroma, medium weight mouth feel, nice malt backbone. Could use a bit more hop bitterness

TAP. Cloudy orange pour with flat white head. Neutral nose, not much I could pick.... Faint hops... Malty beer all over, more biscuit up front with a touch of caramel malt & a buttering hop back end.

Really solid, sessionable beer. Hay and earthy aromas with a hint of fruit. Taste is of Passionfruit and subtle mandarin with a pleasant bitterness that fades quickly. Would smash a keg. varanid99 (1277) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 25, 2014
Deep gold pour with a thick white head. Caramel, citrus, some more tropical fruit on the nose. Taste is similar, slightly fruity, caramel, sweet, nice quaffer. Rosslew (320) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 8, 2014
Great pour that realises a lovely amber colour and bubbles. There was also a nice fluffy head with lacing. A grassy, floral aroma. Wonderful flavour with pleasant bitterness. Lingering mandarin.
