Almost clear red - amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate, light minerally carbonation. Light malt, little thin cream. Mildly spicy bubblegum ester. Finishes light and tangy with a spicy linger. Okay.
bottle. shimmery bronze pour, medium bodied. sweet malts, some holiday spice like cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cloves. Not overly spiced but flavorful. Nice winter offering ABUSEDGOAT (2820) - California, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Orangish brown colored, moderate head, good retention. Aroma is darker bread, caramel, banana, earth, lightly floral. Medium to full body, largely dry finish with a light sweetness. Pretty nice. dansac (114) - Loa Angeles, Alabama, USA - DEC 28, 2013
A nice, spiced up amber ale. The usual stuff: cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar. Base beer is an amber, some notable malt presence. Pours dark amber, with a moderate head. Smells of holiday spice. Mouthfeel is sweetness, malt, and lots of spice.
It’s a nice winter beer, but nothing out of the box, or very interesting. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 20, 2013

Sweet candy aroma with a slight sea salt/rustiness. The Christmas cookie spices come through right away and are really well balanced and not over done. Candied fruit and plum flavors follow with a slight vegetal bitterness near the end. The alcohol becomes apparent but perfectly warming and tying everything together. The flavors linger and make the next sip delicious. Great holiday beer. Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Sample at Kinetic Brewing Company. The beer pours a reddish-amber color with a medium thin creamy off-white head that diminishes steadily. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted bread, dark fruit and yeast. Medium body with flavors of grainy malt, figs and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt and spice aftertaste. Above average overall. bhensonb (15609) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 30, 2013
Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours very hazy, quite dark orange brown with a slight head that was transient. Aroma of medium dark fruit with some suggestions of spice. Full bodied. Flavor is very fruity with clove, vanilla and arguably treacle. Certainly not dry, but not sticky sweet either. Mildly spiced for an xmas ale. Too spiced for the summer. Works well as a winter warmer! dukeredhair (243) - California, USA - JAN 22, 2013
Nice subtle use of spices, nose is banana bread, cloves, hops. pours red. taste is sweet with the alcohol well hidden. palate is somewhat dry which is surprising for a winter ale and an old ale. I would search this out again and be happy to have it. mjg74 (3156) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 17, 2012
Bomber(8.1%) from Windmill Farms. Hazy deep amber in color. Nose is somewhat yeasty with sweet banana notes. Roasted and sweet up front with some vanilla. Fairly dry with a bit of a hoppy finish. Quite roast and almost burnt flavoring.
