I agree with my esteemed colleague lisagirl. A well-balanced fruity number with a gorgeous mahogany body and a trace of whitish head. At the time of pouring it was too cold to give off its full array of aromas, but out came peaches, orange peel, crystal-like malt whiffs and dark cherries. These were reflected in the flavours along with ripe orchardy bitterness. I got a slightly sweet impression which made it taste more like an English Ale to me, but there you go.
Lovely stuff. lisagirl (264) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 8, 2013
probably the first beer which i have been motivated to describe with the word ’marmalade’. indeed it is rather fruity and well balanced too.
