Cask (handpump) @ Victoria, Earl Soham, England IP13.
Clear light to medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, dusty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (010808)

[email protected] Fountain. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruits and some slightly syrupy notes as well. Flavour is at first very sweet malty, caramelly and also has some nice liquorish notes. In the finish the whole thing goes quite wooden and grassy bitter.

Cask at Paisley Beer Festival 2008 ... amber ... hoppy nose ... light fruit bitter ... nothing special

Cask handpull at Victoria, Earl Soham. Pale copper, thin off white head. Quite a hoppy session bitter, some toffee malt, good dusty drying finish. Some apricot fruit. Rather a nice session beer that has certainly got good hop.

Bottle August 05 picked up from the shop near the brewery. Another Earl Soham beer which fails to excite me, light brown in colour, quite hoppy and with a reasonable bitterness present throughout, it’s fine.

Cask conditioned handpump Victoria Earl Soham A dark gold coloured beer with an off white head. The aroma is a little sweet and a little soapy with some peppery notes also. The taste is yeasty and malty with a little Suffolk dishwater.

Bottle Conditioned. This was a gift from chris_o. An out of date British bottle conditioned beer. Hmmm. Thanks Chris! Anyway, the hops have not survived. And there is the expected sharpness. Beyond that I can detect the possibility of this being a nice beer. But at the moment this is siimply a drain pour. Average mark given.

Cask at paisley beer fest. Alround rating: Honey, pale malts, grassy bittering hops. Standard session bitter.
