3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at EB&B. I liked this one. Nice darker amber color and white head. Hint of toasted malt in the nose and bread. Malt predominated the flavor, sweet and caramel but there was a hint of hop flavor to balance. This was easy to drink and had nice flavor.
Growler shared at Kane’s release of Morning Bell. Poured a good looking clear rusty orange with a smaller to average sized head. Aroma of breaad crusts and fgrain, some earthy citrus notes and a touch of orange rind. Medium body with fuller strong carbonation and a lingering aftertaste even though it’s more malt forward. Flavor of bread crusts, slight older citrus rind, green grapes, malts. Great easy drinking beer especially for the style.
