Well, this fucken sux. I think my rating for this will be lower than even its ten percent counterpart. It has loads of nail polish and odd phenols in the nose. It has that mildly poisonous taste of psychoactive plant matter that only the worst malts seem to have. It’s also flat. Overall, this is a truly horrid beverage and I’m pleased to have the privilege to try it. crossovert (14354) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 5, 2017
710ml can. Probably well past its best by. The can had slime on it and was purchased warm. It is oxidized, metallic, acetone, just pure garbage in a can. Still better than king cobra though. DuffMan (10983) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 27, 2017
Can. The following is a compilation of a dozen peoples’ thoughts who shared this brew with me at my first (and perhaps last?) Malt Liquor Dexterity Games Tournament to celebrate my birthday. Keeping in mind that most of the participants are not regular beer raters, here we go: pale yellow, slightly hazy, old apples, cardboard, corn, low on the Richter scale, banana flavoured liquid penicillin, it shook my life, it shakes my belief in good beer, farty smell with rotten taste, slightly too much musk, I don’t taste anybody, not moved by this experience, minus-8.4 on the Richter scale, tasted like paint cans. can, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.Darkmagus82 (2303) - - AUG 27, 2014
Pours a deep gold color with a huge white head and nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma is basically apple cider and rubbing alcohol. Naw dude, make that cheap apple juice and vodka. The more aeration it gets the less the offensiveness of the alcohol aroma permeates the nose. In fact after a few minutes it just smells like apple juice... & nothing else.
The flavor is really fairly complex, cheap brandy, apple cider, some light corniness, and a fairly good showing of grape drank. Despite all this, it’s sweetness lands barely on the medium as far as Malt Likka scale is concerned.
This one took me off guard, Earthquake as a brand has a capacity to do that in my experience. In my early Malt Likka days I wouldn’t have enjoyed an 8+%er very much, but I think I could have handled this.

Poured from tall boy can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer poured a medium golden color with a two finger white head. The head was on the more fizzy side, fading rather fast and leaving a decent level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma was rather light but actually quite pleasant. It consists of a blend of bready malts as well as some sweet smells. The sweet were a mix of citrus, corn and an almost sugar cookie like smell. The blend of all the aromas made for a somewhat warming and pleasant sweeter smell.
Taste – The taste begins with flavors of corn and a light bready flavor. While rather sweet up front it grows even stronger as the taste moves on to the middle and the end with more corn sweetness and some flavors of a sweet and sour green apple taste coming in. As the taste moves onto the end, the green apple grows stronger with the corn syrup getting stronger as well. When combined with a light alcohol and a quite metallic flavor at the end of the taste, it leaves a somewhat biting and sweet taste to be left on the tongue. As the beer warms the lesser, later qualities of a sour, metallic, and corn flavor begin dominating the flavor even more; this is one to drink when quite cold.
Mouthfeel – The thickness and the creaminess of the brew are average to slightly above average with the carbonation level that is average to just below average. The thickness was a bit too much for the sweeter and metallic flavors of the brew with the carbonation level too low. Both the body and carbonation level gave the brew a bit too much time to sit on the tongue and a bit too slow of a drinker.
Overall – When drunken cold it is not too bad, but once it starts warming it turns more unpleasant. Drink it cold for best results.

24oz can 1/6/14 (Local Liquor Store)-46° in Lager Glass-Pours a light clear golden with a small white ring for a head. Aroma of sweetness and grains. Taste of sweetness, grains, and grass. This light bodied brew hides the ABV fairly well and not as offensive as other Malt Liquors. SHIG (5321) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Can: Poured a clear golden with a huge white head. Aroma is sweet grass. Taste is sweet, but overall undefined. luttonm (7144) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 19, 2013
24oz can from the corner store in Seattle. Sweet, relatively crisp malt liquor with light apple cider / juice flavors. Really not so offensive, and alcohol is relatively in the background for a strong ’high gravity lager’ like this. when cold, this is tolerable. but by no means good. Smells really cold. Amazingly clear. No indication of alcohol. More watery than L. I. T. E. and twice the abv. Solid offering. Can thanks to lenincat

Pours yellow with a thick creamy long lasting head. Smells like..... beer I guess not much going on. Taste is thick beer. Kinda musty in flavor. Oily, slick, creamy. Not great but new one to rate.
