Pours a deep gold color with a huge white head and nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma is basically apple cider and rubbing alcohol. Naw dude, make that cheap apple juice and vodka. The more aeration it gets the less the offensiveness of the alcohol aroma permeates the nose. In fact after a few minutes it just smells like apple juice... & nothing else.
The flavor is really fairly complex, cheap brandy, apple cider, some light corniness, and a fairly good showing of grape drank. Despite all this, it’s sweetness lands barely on the medium as far as Malt Likka scale is concerned.
This one took me off guard, Earthquake as a brand has a capacity to do that in my experience. In my early Malt Likka days I wouldn’t have enjoyed an 8+%er very much, but I think I could have handled this.
This is a beast. Big cream corn aroma. Flavor of cotton candy, heavy corn, some grape, and a bit of booze. Dry finish and great smooth carbonation for the style. Not bad for $.99. Darkmagus82 (2303) - - AUG 27, 2014

Poured from tall boy can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer poured a medium golden color with a two finger white head. The head was on the more fizzy side, fading rather fast and leaving a decent level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma was rather light but actually quite pleasant. It consists of a blend of bready malts as well as some sweet smells. The sweet were a mix of citrus, corn and an almost sugar cookie like smell. The blend of all the aromas made for a somewhat warming and pleasant sweeter smell.
Taste – The taste begins with flavors of corn and a light bready flavor. While rather sweet up front it grows even stronger as the taste moves on to the middle and the end with more corn sweetness and some flavors of a sweet and sour green apple taste coming in. As the taste moves onto the end, the green apple grows stronger with the corn syrup getting stronger as well. When combined with a light alcohol and a quite metallic flavor at the end of the taste, it leaves a somewhat biting and sweet taste to be left on the tongue. As the beer warms the lesser, later qualities of a sour, metallic, and corn flavor begin dominating the flavor even more; this is one to drink when quite cold.
Mouthfeel – The thickness and the creaminess of the brew are average to slightly above average with the carbonation level that is average to just below average. The thickness was a bit too much for the sweeter and metallic flavors of the brew with the carbonation level too low. Both the body and carbonation level gave the brew a bit too much time to sit on the tongue and a bit too slow of a drinker.
Overall – When drunken cold it is not too bad, but once it starts warming it turns more unpleasant. Drink it cold for best results. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - DEC 20, 2012
24oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with about a finger of thick white head. Aroma of corn and grains with a bit of green apple. Taste is light sweet and light sour. Mostly grain with a little sweet corn and green apple on the back end. Light bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation but not much of a finish. Overall, it’s ok. Almost reminds me of a "light" malt liquor.

Smells really cold. Amazingly clear. No indication of alcohol. More watery than L. I. T. E. and twice the abv. Solid offering. Can thanks to lenincat

This actually isn’t too bad a choice for getting buzzed quickly, cost-effectively. Not a very impressive taste but no nasty fusils. ccex (1400) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2013
24 oz. $1.29 can pours a clear golden color with plenty of bubbles rising to a vanishing soapy white head and a little lacing. Smells of corn and rotting apples. Aroma is similar, with some old vegetables added. Tastes sweet with a slightly metallic finish with no alcohol burn. Body is light with average carbonation. I expected a lot worse from this one, and consider it one of the best cheap beers from this notorious brewery. A perfect match for the leftover rib tips from the ’hood which I am enjoying with this brew now. SHIG (5300) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Can: Poured a clear golden with a huge white head. Aroma is sweet grass. Taste is sweet, but overall undefined.
