Bottle from ed through local beer trade... Amber in color, smells malty not much hops to speak of in aroma or taste. More of a light amber ale than an ipa. Ed said he drain poured his but I will probably drink it, itís not terrible just a bad example of an ipa.
bottled - decent amber color. Sweet and hoppy aroma. Sweet and hoppy flavor. Just ok - probably better on tap. burg326 (5479) - Florida, USA - FEB 2, 2016
12 ounce bottle with aromas of pine, light caramel, sweet fruit, and stale hops. Flavors are the same stale hops with malt and caramel, floral stale hops meh... N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - OCT 30, 2015
Drank this from a twelve ounce bottle, no clue where I got it from, poured in a nonic glass. Has very odd aromas for an IPA, wheat/bread, a bit sour, a bit malty, and citrus from the hops. Pours a nice, beautiful brown color with a bit of frothy head. Tastes heavy, not very bitter. Wouldnt consider it an IPA, not sure what I would consider it. From the aroma thought this was going to be garbage, but not too bad. John25 (1291) - Middletown, New Jersey, USA - AUG 26, 2015
Bottle. Amber/sunburst color. Caramel malt forward with pine, fruit, and tea. Very rich. Pretty solid, but nothing special. medium bitterness, Larry_Duffman (527) - - AUG 20, 2015
I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a dark amber with a white head and lacing. The aroma is malt, hops, and tea. The taste is pretty malty with hops and hints of tea and fruit. Itís creamy and smooth. This is different than your average IPA. Itís not bad. I like that it tried to be a bit different.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear dark amber in color; medium off white head and some lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, fruit and malts. Taste is a nice balanced combination of malts and hop a bit grassy, yes it is a bit watery but not bad. Solid IPA; granted not the best but certainly quite drinkable and very enjoyable. Chris and Alisa brought this one back for me from a trip to New Jersey. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-brown color with lots of little floaters and a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty caramel, crystal malt, pine, earthy hops and a hint of tropical fruits. The flavor was bitter and tangy with crystal malt, pine, tropical fruit and sugar. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2015
Pours amber orange with a thin off white head with very little lacing. Aroma is of stale malts, citrus, pine, sweet, malts, caramel, and some floral hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma with way too many sweet malts and caramel malts. Has a medium-light body with a semi watery mouthfeel an watery, slightly bitter, medum-short finish. Overall, a rather subpar IPA that is way too malty and not refreshing at all. ganache (5852) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 30, 2014
Bottle, screw-top. Nose is lightly dank, juicy-rindy, woody but not preponderant with pine. Sweet and estery. Pours hazy, particulate bright orange with a rocky beige head, some yellow. Taste lightly sweet, yeasty, lightly bitter, some etoh showing but not much, lots of interesting floral and highly vegetal notes, getting green and very much planty notes from the hops, but I donít think thatís a bad thing necessarily, works fine here. Minty with faint numbing, faint resin, faint spice. Medium body a little soapy but somewhat refreshing, still carries enough naked citrus to save the day. This one probably wonít ever be highly rated, but it pulled off its job -- barely -- with character. 60minuteman (1681) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2014
Pale hazy golden color, minimal head. Aroma of hop, pine, spice, lemon, perhaps some peppercorns. Thin body. Pretty dull but Iíve had worse in the IPA category.
