hazy burnt gold. 1 finger off-white head.Aroma is mild on this one, fairly dank with juice and pine and some mango. Hey, this is pretty darn good. Crisp, very light with a great hop balance, sweet without being cloying, good doughy malt character. very well done. mrohia (266) - Ohio, USA - DEC 4, 2016
Foundry, Pittsburgh, draft. Slight orange aroma. Smooth and tasty. A little reddish in color. I like it. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2005
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2015 Sampled on draft at Smokin? Joes in Pittsburgh this beer poured a orange-copper color with a small yellow-white head the left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet yeastiness, grapefruity hops and a touch of pine. The flavor was bitter with nutty malt with a solid grapefruit and pine hop presence followed by sour toasted caramel. Long finish. Medium body and fairly smooth. Nicely quaffable. Homebrewerguy (306) - Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 10, 2005
I be trinkink zis unt I be vonderink if zis ist really an IPA. Zhe tasten vas more liken ein pale ale cause of zhe hop mildness. It vas gut zhough, vis ein malty ness, or ist zhat ein nalty mess?zebracakes (1339) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 15, 2006

I was very impressed by this beer. It was nicely balanced without the usual overpowering hop presence. This is an easy drinker which I’ll definately be looking for again.

Murky golden amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, citrus, toffee, and floral hops. Taste was bitter, grapefruit, light caramel malts, pine, lightly resiny, with a dry finish. adrian910ss (2575) - Doylestown, PA, USA - SEP 25, 2007
On tap at Zeno’s. Pours a hazy orange caramel color with a medium creamy beige. Aroma of grapefruit, orange peel and faint floral hops. Taste is slightly bitter with an orange/grapefruit flavor. Quite hoppy and enjoyable. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2008
Pours cloudy yellowish orange. Aroma is very hoppy, a bit misleading. Taste is also hoppy, but mellowed out by malts very well. Miver (609) - Silver Spring, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 26, 2008
Sampled at East End. Poured cloudy golden amber in color with large sticky head. Aroma of piney hops. Taste is of good piney hops, grapefruit, and orange peel. Not over the top hops, but very drinkable and very nice. clingman71 (297) - Centerville, Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2008
Draft @ Hop House - Pittsburgh. Cloudy orange color wit a sticky lacing head. Malt sweetness in the aroma with some fruity hops also. Flavor begins a nice mixture of malt and hops, then leads to a burst of hop bitterness and resinous finish. A pleasant surprise.
