Richmond 20th. Aroma is slightly ashy. Hint of chocolate. Flavor nails the pepsin profile that I notice sometime. Finishes ashy. Not bad though, kind of liked it.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2013 Had this bottle for some time before opening. Pours a deep brown with a big tan head that lasts for 30 seconds. There is only a slight hint of bourbon in the aroma but not much. Mostly malts to the nose, somewhat chocolatey. Tastes a bit smokey with some dryness to it. Smooth mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone DO NOT AGE. Loses all traces of bourbon in less than 8 months. Should be drank fresh unless you want a roasty dry stout.

charule (2277) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Draught at Salt. Poured black with brown frothy head that hangs around. Choco coffee bourbon aromas. Taste is slightly bitter with some smoke. Drys my tongue out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy
