Pours a hazy yellow gold with a finger of fizzy foam. The nose is rustic bread, spicy earth and a touch of citrus. The palate follows the nose with a earthy flavor profile slightly heightened with a touch of citrus rind. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery but its an easy drinker with a unique flavor profile. Glad I tried it but not itching to find it again. Claves77 (260) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Lemon smell, cloudy golden color. Strong carbonation. Citrusy taste can be slightly overpowering. Nice that they tried something different, but I much prefer others in the style. SudsMcDuff (8541) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 22, 2012

From growler. Spicy malt, wheat and (presumably) spelt aroma, almost a rye quality to it. Dusty grain, mild floral and spicy hops. Medium amber hazy with thin white foamy lacing head. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation. Starts medium dry with wheat acidity, a spicy grain note - again, presumably from the spelt. Yeasty astringent or chalky notes, some citrus peel notes with clean bitter finish. Refreshing. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2012
This poured a mostly clear yellow color with a white head. Aroma was wheaty, pale malt, light spice notes, and some basement aromas. Flavor was grainy and lemon peel, not much in the way of funk or earthy tones. A bit bland.
