erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - FEB 20, 2016
Light copper body, very nice creamy head. Herbal, creamy head, some toast, touch farmhouse like funk, bready. Some wood. Very nice mouth feel, excellent round and full flavoured malt malts. Great unique taste. Both historical and very modernistic feel. A characterful and daringly brewed ale with loads of flavour. Love it, big surprise. (Sampled during RBBWG 2016)

sebletitje (10286) - Enghien, BELGIUM - FEB 21, 2016
Bottle sample @ RBBWG 2016, thanks Jeff.

CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle shared by Noodleuser: pours a clear dark copper amber with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a fresh resiny hoppy nose with lightly sweet biscuity malty notes. Starts with pretty good fullness and sweet dark caramel notes with a smooth grassy hoppy bitterness before a drier bittersweet finish.

Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen, bottled in December 2014. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, honey and vanilla. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, honey and vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter, spicy and slightly alcoholic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy to oily mouthfeel. Nice!

kraddel (8762) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 27, 2016

GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 11, 2013
750mL. Clear tea amber pour with yeast floaties. Weak head formation. Nose is nutty, hoppy, mild maple, dark cherry, prune. Taste is again quite hoppy for style, even piney, mild maple, orange candies. A bit medicinal with spruce, pine, orange cough syrup. Not cloying or sticky, quite the hop bomb for style. More in the imperial red category than Old Ale.
