Had this side by side with hacker pschorr dunkleweizen. East end holds his own but not as good. Aroma is not as enticing. The body is nice and comaparable but the east end finishes a little burnt and not as enjoyable. Would definitly drink this again. Finally, after all these years I get to taste this brew, been waiting a long time. Hazy light brown with nice mellow slight perfume aroma. On tap at the bocktown. Slight erotic dirt taste. VEry friendly and enjoyable co2. A rather fun drink right from the start. Yes easy but it has that typical easy end yesaty brew background. Overall not bad, probably the best beer I drank today. Pours a dark copper color with a trace of fizz. Aroma is bananas, some clove, and a bit of spiced apple cider. The flavor is not as sweet as I expected. Carbonation is very light, but that might be because they were having some issues with the regulator with this beer vs.the rest of their taps. A lot of apple skin character to the flavor, but some hints of roasted bitterness sneak in at the end. Supprisingly dry. Medium body that would be helped out by a little carb. Decent, but not as good as some of their other offerings.
