1L swingtop courtesy of aimeefausser and CrellMoset. Thanks! Pours a hazy golden color with a medium white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of bread and honey with a weird cat-food like note. The taste is bread, honey, spicy, leafy hops and a slightly nutty finish. Medium bodied. hopdog (12382) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2010
1 liter flip top bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with small sized off white head. Aromas of spices, some fruitiness, and corn. Tastes of the same. This one reminded me a little bit of a Malt Liquor. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - JUN 1, 2010
Thanks to hopdog for sharing this 1L bottle. Pours a lightly hazy orange with a golden smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of classic tripel yeast, spicy and fruity, vegetal, banana and solventy. Flavor was vegetal, bready malt, tripel yeast character...not holding up. SSKD814 (854) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2010
I made my first trip out to east end the weekend before new year’s and this is what I decided to pick up. I am reviewing this one as I finish it from my Duvel tulip glass.
A- Body is a lightly translucent golden yellow. An aggressive pour produces a 3 finger head that quicky fades to a thin collar. Body has uniform (thin) cloudiness.
S- This one has a strong sweet nose upfront. Fruity esters and bready yeast mix to make it sweet. There is also a huge presence of alcohol in the nose-more so than in most of this style.
T- Big fruitiness (apple, white grape, citrus) upfront with a sweet bready yeast backbone. Fruity sweetness intensifies for the finish as the hop profile emerges. Subtleties from the initial flavor linger on the palate along with a big alcohol bitterness/warmth.
P-Low-medium carbonation and light body full of alcohol slickness.
O- This is a great triple that Scott put together. Too bad it is limited. Hopefully his 4-yr anniversary brew will be just as good!

1 liter bottle at CL. Pours a hazy golden with a nice lasting frothey white head. Aroma is nicely sweet- bready doughy malts, light carapils, good yeasty fruity esters- and a nice smooth phenolic vanilla and slight clove. More fruits in the flavor - apricot, slgith lemon citrus, doughy and yeasty- and a nice sweetness- light spicy and peppery phenols and a smooth finish- not too sweet in the end.

Golden color with a sweet aroma of peaches, citrus, and sugar. Flavor is sweet and yeasty with citrus and summer fruit throughout. Not bad, but average by trippel standards. Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 18, 2009
1 liter bottle courtesy of sebletitje. Awesome, thanks Sebastian. Pours gold with straw hues and spotty white head. The aroma is fruity up front with apricot, peach and apple to go along with yeasty spice notes. The taste is much the same largely being fruity in nature from a smooth mix of peach, plum, apricot and apples. Behind the fruitiness is a thin layer of yeast spiciness. kiefdog (1826) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 11, 2009
Bottle courtesy of sebletitje. Pours a hazy golden caramel color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel, pear, apple, honey, toffee, and yeast. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of pear, apple, caramel, toffee, candy sugar, loads of honey. Generally medium body with a pleasing sweet and malty finish. Nice tripel style ale. afterglow (1047) - Florida, USA - JAN 11, 2009
Bottle courtesy of sebletitje. Pours a hazy golden with a one finger white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of yeast, sweet malt, and not much else. Taste is the same as aroma with a hint of honey. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Decent. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 10, 2009
Bottle courtesy of sebletitje. Pours a hazy gold with a nice white head. Nose is sugary berry, honey, and some light fruit. Taste is some yeast with honey, citrus, and spice with well-blended alcohol. Great Tripel.
