Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Ive just heard the phrase "my father would have killed for a rectum of a horse." which puts everything into context doesnt it? Dark brown beer with a lasting thick dark beige head. This is a very good best bitter. Brilliant malts, great peppery hop on the end. This is really good. A very good best bitter.

Many thanks to thirstybird for this bottle! Smooth and slightly grainy nose. Nice intense bitter beginning. Fresh caramel, the bitterness gets more intense to the middle, refreshing with caramelly hints in the aftertaste. Full-bodied, round and great!
