On tap at Eastern Shore Brewing (St. Michael’s, MD). Aromas of banana, clove, apple. Hazy light orange with a fairly lasting white head. Pretty dry, fruity, lightly sulfuric. Light bodied, kind of watered down. ads135 (4924) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 1, 2015
A mild hefe. Light and a little musty. Thin head. Sweet to begin, then it tails off. Has hints of the hefe yeast character you’d expect. Tried with Jess at the brewery in spring 2014. BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2014
On tap at Town Dock. Serious hate going on in the rates here jeez. Standard hazy yellow pour and white head for the style. Aroma of banana esters, yeast, wheat malts, some light sweet honey notes. Flavor is as the aroma would suggest, with plenty of the yeast my banana hefe flavor we all love. Light bodied, medium plus carbonation, crisp clean finish. This is an excellent hefe and I’d love to try it next to Live Oak’s version. Quit the hate. This is a really good beer. 9er (99) - Maryland, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Way too sour for my liking to even be considered good. The bartender described this as sweet?? WTF! Nothing sweet at all here. The cloudy mess was redeeming for its alcohol content only. Good ridence... lamas (1651) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Draft at Ava’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar, St. Michael’s, MD on 07/26/13. Arrived at the table a hazy gold with a skim of a beige head. The aroma featured plenty of zesty citrus rinds, candi sugar, ripe bananas, and cloves. Went down fairly thin-bodied and watery. The taste started quite sweet with lots of candi sugar, bananas, and a strange soggy graham cracker flavor. Honey and lemons followed. Zesty citrus rinds and some spiciness comprised the finish. This tasted a little odd to me - like it was brewed with dirty water or something.

Serving: Draft at the 45th Street Tap House. Pours a cloudy yellow with no head. The nose has slight lemon, banana, and clove notes. The flavor follows suit with a touch of yeast and wheat notes. Dry, clean finish. Nothing remarkable but inoffensive and drinkable. BeerandBlues2 (13697) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 3, 2012
