ciocanelu (3190) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - FEB 19, 2018
Really dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has resiny hops, some dark chocolate and sweetened coffee, orange zest in the background. Taste is hoppy, resiny, quite roasty and bitter on the finish with lingering grapefruit rind and roasted grains. Medium to light body and carbonation. A legit, more old school black IPA with a good amount of hop bitterness.

On tap. Black with ruby reflections, with a creamy thick head. Hoppy aroma, roasted notes and something berrylike too. Well balanced bittersweet, in the finish the hops become stronger. Not too carbonated, medium body with an almost creamy feeling. Very nice Black IPA.
