Tap sample at source, Jernhatten cykeltur 08/2015. One of the hardhitting odds ones out on a hot summer’s day, this high octane winter seasonal. - balanced aroma of apricot liqueur, Marille, low in spicy phenols or abv fumes. Some cream toffee, cane sugar, Sahnebonbon in taste made palpable by Grand Manier orange hops and some pine. Danish cover of a US version of a Belgian Strong Ale - works for me. Will revisit bottled.

Bottle, 25cl. Gusher. Unclear in the glass, amber in color and with a small, beige head. The aroma is lighlty sourish and funky, with a spiced touch, some caramel malts, piney notes and dried fruits. Canned tropical fruits, funky sourness, malty caramel and dried fruits in the flavor. Some alcohol and warmth. Full body and a bit heavy carbonation. Long funky finish. Quite decent this one, but a tad too warming. 150724
