Pours black with nice tan head. Short head retention, some lacing. Roasty, licorice, spicy nose. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is roasty, licorice, dried fruits, some sweet notes. Enjoyable.

Black coloured with a toasty brown head lasting for a good while with good lacings. On the nose roast malt and bitter chocolate aromas arise with a light vanilla-earthy-wood note to it. Medium bodied with a livelyness offers roast malt, bitter chocolate flavours with hints of light herb notes. Big light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish, dark malts, sour coffee, sweet licorice, sugar, dark berries, grass, sorrel. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, dark malts, sour coffee, grass, licorice, hay, minerals, burnt caramel, dark berries, ashtray. Medium bitterness, slightly dry harsh mouthfeel. Boring.
On tap at the brewery. ABV is 7,5%. Coca cola colored body and a dense light brown head. Molasses and liquorice on the nose. Dried dark fruits, acidic and sweet liquorice in the mouth and a hint of puffed oats. . Full bodied and smooth. Long pleasant finish. Brewer says he’s used chilli and other spices. I can’t really taste it. Good beer though.
