(50 cl bottle bought from Kihoskh for 20 DKK; BBD: May 2017) Poured at fridge temperature into a BRUS shaker reveals a hazy golden beer with two fingers of fluffy white head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is nicely hopforward in the tropical fruit variety although a bit more sodapop malt sweetness is present compared to the sample of fresh, plain Wildflower I enjoyed on tap previously. Body is more full also. Carbonation is soft, oily texture and a lingering sweet finish. Flavour has subdued bitterness, lots of hoppy aroma notes and a moderate amount of sweetness. Decent and very drinkable indeed.

Bottle. Hazy golden with a medium sized white head with good lace and regeneration. Flowers, peach, hay and green plants in the nose. Flavour has flowers, hay, dust, light cheese, wood and earthy notes. Medium body, fine carbonation, medium sweet and light/medium bitter. Slightly sweet and hoppy finish. Ok, but I like the regular IPA version better; this seems heavier and sweeter.

FraekkeFyr87 (705) - - DEC 11, 2016
The aroma is full of hops, flowers, citrus, lime, pine, pineapple, lemon and yeast. The color is reminiscent of orange juice. The taste is full of hops, elderflower, citrus, lime, pine, passionfruit, pineapple, lemon zest, oranges, peaches and lemon. I actually prefer the regular version of the Wildflower IPA than this Christmas version. I had the regular version on tap a few months ago and it was phenomenal. This is still a nice beer, though.
